Emotions can be confusing - up and down, up and down.
God's patiently teaching me not to trust my emotions, but to trust Him, that He will be my strength. Hard lesson to learn though. Very hard lesson at times.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
8 The LORD is the strength of his people
